Teftdgapi was the site of Ranger (later called Rangrr), one of the first large Tehachapi cities to be built outside of their native land.  Teftdgapi means "the East Land" in the Tehachapi tongue (and in some dialects of False Cognate).  Because of the rich oil seeps and resources of the area, it was a perfect place for refining their asphalt manufacture techniques.

Once the gwome of Teftdgapi extended from Ranger all the way to the Atlantic ocean, though today it is a small, but proud sliver of that.  Ranger was famous for its particularly fine bottling plant where they carbonated soda with natural gas.  It was popular among rebel fighters of many gwomes.

Research is on-going.
