A Strange Coincidence
The Sacred Text of the structures of San Benitoite bear a striking resemblance (in narrative if not verbatim) to the Victorian book Flatland by the Reverend Abbott. Though the social behaviours of these structures bears no resemblance to those described in the book, the notion of 4 worlds, of which a tiny sliver 2 miles east of Hollister is the second, will be familiar to such a reader.
Whether the Reverend had made contact with San Benitoite (as opposed to Flatland where he spent quite a bit of time) is unknown. If he did, he certainly never commented on the seismic activity in the area.
