Home to a rich German tradition. It was settled by Germans during the Antepartic era. Interestingly, they were returning to their ancestral roots. Many of the people of Westphalia (in nEuropean Germany) actually came originally from this area and indeed the capital city took its name from this ancestral Berlin. Today, though these returnees, if you will, have been living in Kymaerica for several generations, they still speak a fluent High German.
