Part of the Arrowhead Confederacy, a loose association of nations that dominated sGeorgia after the falls of Athens, though its roots go back still further. The sGeorgian walled city of Kite is a divided city. East Kite is in Emmanuel Nation, West Kite in Mshalie Wasoomoo. Though each is in a nation of the Arrowhead Confederacy, tensions run high. The common borders of the two nations are marked by large stone walls about 15 feet apart for the entire 28 mile length of the border. But this gap is spanned by the legendary Kite bridges. Some bridges are brazenly painted, others camouflaged, still others like these old stone ones are never taken down because the two Kites can not agree on when and how. And, after all this time, the locals have a soft spot for their bridges. The bridges have a colorful history and were used to move things that were contraband in one nation across the border into the other temporarily in the event of police raid. Despite their common membership in the Arrowhead, jurisidictional rivalries largely resulting from being of two branches of the same family (same patriarch, different wives—who were sisters—many generations ago) have prevented co-operation between the nations.
