The capital of Dudleytown in the Dark Entry forest is probably the best known city in the gwome. Many ominous rumors (and please do not trespass in the DE Forest—access is restricted now) have given the area around the capital a kind of disturbing reputation.
However, boosters are eager to point out the excitement of the Ice Lifting Competitions, which are attended by thousands each year—a remarkably unforgiving combination of skill, concentration and luck. The most prestigious of these is of course the one in the beautiful town of Sharon.
Another popular tourist destination is the “ghost town” of Litchfield. Not a true ghost town because it still has a vibrant community, but it is much diminished in its size since the Litchfield Strike which began the jConecticutt Gold Rush a generation or two ago.
