Plaque was dedicated throughout Edinburgh Fringe festival--one description is here
Concerns the meeting of Nobunaga-Ventreven and Mlates gi Dunhuira. The instant they met here, they were Losana (a cognate word meaning the person you will be with forever).
Later, they were parted (some thought forever) as they crossed what we would call the Rhine River.
Access is up EITHER up the steps at the southwest end of the Grassmarket in Edinburgh (linear Scotland). The steps turn into the Vennel.
OR you can come from Lauriston Place, go down (north) Heriot Place to just past where it intersects with Keir Street. After that it turns into the Vennel.
In any event, you'll see a fence around a Car Park, on the west side of the Vennel.
The Vennel is a cobblestone walkway between the steps and Heriot Place.
And the plaque is just inside the fence of the ECA (Edinburgh College of Art) Car Park.
